 There are certain offenses which affect personal property which is as follows:
  1. Intellectual Property Crimes:

    It consists of a bundle of rights.The common form of IPR violation may be said to be software piracy, infringement of copyright, trademark, patents, designs service mark violation, theft of computer source code, etc.
  2. Cyber Squatting:

    Cyber squatting is the act of registering a famous domain name and then selling it for fortune. For example two similar names i.e. www.google.com and www.gogle.com.
  3. Cyber Vandalism

    Cyber-Vandalism accounts for the act of damaging someone’s data from the computer that in a way disrupts the victim’s business or image due to editing the data into something invasive, embarrassing or absurd.
  4. Hacking Computer System:

    Hacktivist attacks those included Famous Twitter, blogging platform by unauthorized access/control over the computer.
  5. Transmitting Virus:

    The viruses are written by people with malefic intentions to trouble the innocent users.  There are many types of viruses are boot sector viruses, file viruses, worms, Trojan horses, macro viruses etc.The modern-day viruses transmit more through networks and emails.
  6. Cyber Trespass:

    Computer trespass laws, such as the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, that ban unauthorized access to a computer.some courts have interpreted computer trespass laws broadly to prohibit trivial wrongs such as violating terms of use to a website.
  7. Internet Data Thefts:

    It is the use by an unauthorized person, of the Internet hours paid for by another person. The person who gets access to someone else’s ISP user ID and password, either by hacking

Cyber Crimes Against Society:

  1.  Pornography:

    Pornography is describing or showing sexual act containing videos, films, chatting etc. Such kind of websites is known as Pornographic websites.
  2. Cyber Trafficking:

    It may be trafficking in drugs, human beings, arms weapons etc.
  3. Online Gambling:

    Online fraud and cheating are one of the most lucrative businesses that are growing today in the cyberspace.
  4. Financial Crimes:

    This kind of offense is common as there is rapid growth in the users of networking sites and phone networking where culprit will try to attack by sending bogus emails or messages through the internet.
  5. Forgery:

    The crime of forgery generally refers to the making of a fake document, the modification of an existing document, or the unauthorized signing of a signature without authorization.
